Car history: |
1) A beautiful 1972 Corvette. It is a 3 owner car purchased locally. The car was in the same family for 43 years. One Brother purchased the car new and then sold it to the other brother when he returned from Vietnam. I do have a copy of the title when it was transfered from brother to brother. The Car is in great shape and has featured options of factory (working) A/C, PS, PB, 4spd Tran, Factory tinted glass, and tilt wheel. The seats and interior is all original and is very nice. You can see were the original carpet is starting to get thin. I will try to put some pictures as it is hard to see. The oil pressure gauge does not work. All the other gauges work great along with all the vacuum lines. The radio is a corvette aftermarket radio cassette player. Body looks great. The car was painted in the 80's I have the reciept. The only reason it was painted was because it had the factory orange peel paint and the oldest brother was tired of looking at it. So he had a very nice paint job put on it. The car has had no accidents and you can still see the cars factory bonding seams. Engine runs great. It is a CE block. In 72 it had a noise and was under warranty. Instead of trying to fix it they just dropped a CE block in. I have been told this is very common. Everything else is correct under the hood with the exception of valve covers. Brakes, Transmition work great. The Car has a complete stainless exhaust under it with the factory exhaust tips on it. Tires are brand new and have less than 100 miles on them with the original spare in the carrier. It really is a tight great running car. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. No bid at starting $16,000 on May 31, 2018. |
